Morning Service at 10:30 Unitarian-Universalists are nothing if not rational. So we are out after the truth of the matter when it comes to such things as God. We might do better by asking ourselves not just what is true, but also what we need. After services join us for Yoga with Kitty Bevis at 1:30 and the Social Capital Group meeting at 6:00.

 

Green TaraApril 25 – Who Is Green Tara? – Veronica Gard

Morning Service at 10:30 A Bodhisattva, in the Buddhist tradition, is an enlightened being who could enter Nirvana, but has taken a vow of compassion, to remain in the world until all sentient beings have entered that blessed state.  Veronica Gard is a practicing Buddhist, and will talk about Bodhisattvas and their role in Buddhism. After services join us for the Second Sunday Culinary Food Exchange, Yoga with Kitty Bevis at 1:30 and Men’s Group at 6:30.This week at CUUC join us for Women’s Group at 7:00 Monday and the Committee for the Ministry meeting at 4:00 Wednesday.

 

EarthApril 18 – Earth Day Service – RE Committee

Morning Service at 10:30 Today’s service will honor the mother of us all, the Earth herself. Come and see what we can do to help her survive and flourish. After services join us for Yoga with Kitty Bevis at 1:30. This week at CUUC join us for the Committee For Growth and Development meeting Monday at 7:00 and the Work and Maintenance Party Saturday at 10:00.

 

beliefsApril 11 – Our Beliefs and our Selves – Congregational Panel

Morning Service at 10:30 Does it really matter what we believe?  UUs are unusual in that we are non-creedal and can hold a variety of religious beliefs in addition to Unitarian-Universalism,  Today, we  will talk about our personal beliefs and how they affect our lives. After services join us for the Fourth Sunday Soup Lunch at 12:00, Yoga with Kitty Bevis at 1:30 and Men's Group at 6:30. This week at CUUC join us for Women's Group on Monday at 7:00.

 

vandusenApril 4 – All-Musical Easter Service – Peter Van Dusen

Morning Service at 10:30 With a little help from his friends, Peter will present a service of inspirational music appropriate to the Easter season. After services join us for Yoga with Kitty Bevis at 1:30 and the Social Capital Group meeting at 6:00.

Morning Service at 10:30 With gratitude for what has been given, and an eye to the future, Phil will share some thoughts from his heart, about ministry, his, ours and the big Ours. After services join us for the Farewell to Phil Soup Lunch at 12:00, Yoga with Kitty Bevis at 1:30 and Men's Group at 6:30.
