 April 25 – Who Is Green Tara? – Veronica Gard
Morning Service at 10:30 A Bodhisattva, in the Buddhist tradition, is an enlightened being who could enter Nirvana, but has taken a vow of compassion, to remain in the world until all sentient beings have entered that blessed state. Veronica Gard is a practicing Buddhist, and will talk about Bodhisattvas and their role in Buddhism. After services join us for the Second Sunday Culinary Food Exchange, Yoga with Kitty Bevis at 1:30 and Men’s Group at 6:30.This week at CUUC join us for Women’s Group at 7:00 Monday and the Committee for the Ministry meeting at 4:00 Wednesday. |

UUs are unusual in that we are non-creedal and can hold a variety of religious beliefs in addition to Unitarian-Universalism, Today, we will talk about our personal beliefs and how they affect our lives.
